We are working to support Service Personnel
On 8th September, Bidvest Logistics signed the Armed Forces Covenant in Whitehall.
Vicky Inglis, Director of HR and Development, commented, "Across our business we have a great number of ex-service personnel, as well as serving reservists and cadet leaders. We’re proud to be showing our support for the Armed Forces community by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant and making dedicated pledges for service personal. As a result I am delighted to confirm we are Bronze Award holders within the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)."
"Working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), the official provider for Armed Forces resettlement and with the MOD, we are working towards becoming Gold Award holders in the future.""The Armed Forces Covenant provides the chance for Bidvest Logistics to demonstrate our support for the Armed Forces community. In doing so we are making a range of written and publicised pledges, detailing all the areas, opportunities, and support we are able to show and provide for service personal current or former. The service community are provided with high levels of training, hold valuable skills and knowledge, which we would like to, recognises and attract into our business. The signing of the Armed Forces Covenant provides a chance to show that we recognises these values and have service friendly policies in place to aid and assist those involved."
