Depot Manager

PHD Access currently have an opportunity for a Depot Manager to join our team and manage the servicing of our stock of hoists and mast climbing platforms. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for long-term job security.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Leading the service team
  • Planning the servicing of equipment against programmed works
  • Utilising knowledge of electrical motors and gearboxes
  • Maintaining the equipment to British Standards
  • Organising the delivery and collection of the equipment
Ideally, you would have worked within the hoist and MCWP industry.

Personal Skills

The right candidate will:
  • Have a good attitude and adherence to Health & Safety requirements and regulations
  • Work co-operatively and communicate with their team and management
  • Have good attendance and timekeeping
  • Have a positive and committed attitude

Service Engineer

PHD Access currently have opportunities for Service Engineers based in the depot and / or to visit projects in the London area, to service and maintain hoists and mast climbing work platforms. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for long-term job security.

The role requires:
  • Experience in servicing electric motors and gearboxes.
  • Maintaining the equipment to British Standards and regulations.
  • Testing and certifying the equipment prior to delivery.
  • Ideally, you would have worked within the hoist and MCWP industry.
  • Hold current qualifications such as City & Guilds; BTEC National Diploma: NVQ
Personal skills

The right candidate will:
  • Have a good attitude and adherence to Health & Safety requirements and regulations.
  • Be comfortable working on your own initiative and co-operatively with a team, communicating effectively at all times.
  • Have good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Have a positive and committed attitude
