Parkguard is an organisation that supports Service leavers and will prioritise their applications once received. We have employed numerous ex-Service personnel, helping them transition from the Military into a Civilian role, and have recently employed Josh who left the Army in July 2020.

Josh went through the CTP, and when it became apparent he didn’t have an SIA Door Supervisor Licence, he was informed how to get his SIA licence and offered invaluable advice on how to put his transferrable skills from the Military into his CV. Josh was enthusiastic regarding the role and promptly completed the course. Josh then applied and after interview, was immediately employed within Parkguard Ltd. He is now a valuable part of a Community Safety Team working within the Lea Valley area.

While we understand that there is ongoing uncertainty around COVID and job security, Parkguard haven’t made any employees redundant nor have any staff members been furloughed throughout the pandemic. In fact, Parkguard has adapted and moved into new sectors supporting our local Authority Partners.

Better yet, we’re delighted to say that we have recently been awarded the Bronze Military Covenant award.
