- Speak with Service support organisations in attendance who can advise on wider topics such as pensions and housing
CTP Employment Fairs are proven to be extremely successful and are attended each year by over 2,500 Service leavers, who took the opportunity to network and discuss employment opportunities with over 200 employers, spanning a multitude of industries and different job roles.

We welcome new companies at each event but some of those who are regular attendees include Aldi, Amazon, BAE Systems, Barclays, Bombardier Transportation, Jaguar Landrover, Kier, ManpowerGroup, Morrison Utility Services, Scania (Great Britain), Step Into Health and Travis Perkins, all wishing to recruit and employ from the Service leaver talent pool.
Recruitment companies such as Cerco IT Ltd, M & E Global Resources, Morson Group, Pertemps and Security Cleared Jobs also regularly attend with live job opportunities.
Our fairs also have representatives from support organisations including Forces Pension Society, Haig Housing Trust, Help to Buy, MOD Veterans Welfare Service and The Poppy Factory and they are all on hand to offer advice, guidance and support. Reserves from each arm of the Armed Forces attend to discuss the opportunities available to those leaving or who have already left.
Many employers in attendance spoke about how impressed they were by the calibre of Service leavers at the events, commenting on the professionalism, conduct and character displayed throughout the day which helped create a real ‘buzz’ around the events. This proves that CTP Employment Fairs not only present a valuable opportunity for Service leavers to find out about job opportunities, but also for employers to learn about the skills and experience that ex-military personnel can offer to their organisations.
