Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing and flourishing organisation serving the population of Hackney, East London, The City and beyond.  We are very proud that the CQC has recently rated Homerton Hospital’s A&E department as 'Outstanding' medical care at the hospital as 'Outstanding', and our acute services and community services for adults, children and young people as ‘Good’.


North East London NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of integrated community and mental health services for people living in the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Havering; Community Health services in South West Essex; and Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health services in Essex, Kent and Medway; and employs over 6,500 staff. 

 

Service leavers, veterans, serving personnel and their spouses/family members are invited to a half day special event focusing on health careers.  The seminar will provide you with the opportunity to:


Consider a future career in the NHS by hearing from two successful NHS Foundation Trusts;

Listen to an Army Veteran about his experience of making the move to the NHS;

Find out about the wide range of suitable job roles across both Trusts;

Learn about how to get into the NHS – advice on applying for jobs, preparing for interviews and work experience/shadowing opportunities.

 

Delegates will also have the opportunity to informally network with each other and representatives from both NHS Trusts.
