SEA CADET CORPS - VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED

21/10/2009

The Sea Cadets Corps (SCC) is looking to recruit volunteers around the country. There are opportunities for both teaching the Cadets in the enormous variety of subjects that we offer, and also supporting their activities via Parents' and Supporters' Associations and Unit Management Committees.

The Sea Cadets greatly value their adult volunteers, without whom the organisation could not function.  SCC support and train volunteers, whatever their previous experience and skills.

The SCC is a nationwide voluntary youth organisation open to young people aged 10 to 18. There are around 14,000 sea cadets and 8,000 adult volunteers based in some 400 individual units around the UK.  There are many ways that people leaving the service can get involved from visiting, volunteering, fund raising or even by leaving a legacy.
