ASCOT HAILED A GREAT SUCCESS!

06/10/2008

Ascot Racecourse was the venue for the largest ever CTP Employment Fair, which took place on Wednesday 24 September, with over 800 Service leavers making contact with over 100 stands.

The CTP stand was manned at all times by staff directing Service leavers to specific Employers and answering all types of queries on the resettlement process and future CTP events. Career Consultants were kept busy throughout the day, providing CV Critique, which according to the feedback forms, was a very useful resource. (Busy CTP stand pictured right)

A wide range of industry sectors were represented, and the volume and range of vacancies on offer certainly showed Service leavers that even with the current economic climate, they were still highly sought after and there were still plenty of vacancies available nationwide.
