Job Finding Services

The Job Finding Service is available 6 months before leaving and up to 2 years after discharge. The service is provided primarily through Employment Consultants (ECs) who are located across 24 offices of the Regular Forces Employment Association Limited (RFEA) and 2 branches of the Officer's Association (OA).  These organisations are sub-contracted by and are fully integrated into the CTP.

We also have Regional Employment & Training Managers (RETMs) located at each of our 10 Regional Resettlement Centres (RRCs).  Their role is to work with employers and training providers in your region to ensure you are informed of local employment opportunities and can offer advice on the training on offer by accredited Preferred Suppliers.

There is also the Information and Resource Co-ordinator at each RRC who are on hand to advise on the resources available to you and researching training courses available to you.  They are located in the Resource Centre within each RRC where there is equipment and information available to assist you.

If you have completed MoD Form 1173 for the Full Support Programme, or Employment Support Programme, you should be contacted by your nearest RRC.  If you have not been contacted by the CTP, call or e-mail using the details on the Contacts and Locations section on this site.

If you have been discharged from the Services longer than 2 years, the RFEA and OA can still offer job finding assistance in their capacity as a registered charity.  To register post discharge contact the RFEA/OA directly who will raise a MoD Form 1173 with you.  The contact details of your local EC can be found on our Location Map
