Management Consultancy Workshop

The term 'Management Consultancy' covers a wide range of functional areas and in many cases includes technical consultancy. Areas of expertise provided by consultancies and consultants include corporate strategy, corporate communications, change management, programme and project management, risk management, business process re-engineering, performance improvement, overhead cost reduction, product development, IT and telecommunications, equipment management, engineering, technology applications - product and service development, HR and organisational aspects, procurement, outsourcing, quality and environmental management, marketing, logistics and supply chain management.

Management/technical consultancy is all about providing advice and solutions to businesses and organisations.

Who should attend?

This workshop is designed for Service leavers (usually Officers, Warrant Officers, and Senior NCOs) who are interested in becoming a management/technical consultant. They should have skills and experience that can be applied in respect of one or more of the functional areas described above and/or have a specialism that fits a niche market. They may be considering working either as a regular employee or on a self employed basis.

Workshop objective

For delegates to gain sufficient understanding to determine whether or not management and/or technical consultancy is an option for them, and if so what the next steps may be.
