Resettlement support does not finish when you leave the Armed Forces. You can seek help if eligible from your Regional Resettlement Centre for up to two years after your discharge date. You may also contact the Regular Forces Employment Association (RFEA) or Officers' Association (OA) for job finding support and access to Right Job, the on-line vacancy database, at any point.
If prior to leaving you have attended a Career Transition Workshop, or worked with a CTP Career Consultant on a one-to-one basis, you are eligible for advice, information and guidance from your Career Consultant for up to two years post-discharge. You can contact them by phone, email, or in person, whether it is to discuss a job application, get feedback on your CV, or simply review your career direction.
You may also be able to attend CTP Employment Fairs or seminars, interview techniques workshops or other events, depending on availability of places.
If you have not accessed resettlement services prior to leaving, you may still be eligible for job finding assistance. To check your eligibility and find out more, contact your nearest Regional Resettlement Centre. Click here for contact information
You may also be able to access training courses at the Resettlement Training Centre (RTC), Aldershot, on a standby basis. Click here for contact information
Job finding assistance is available from the Regular Forces Employment Association (RFEA) and the Officers' Association (OA) for the rest of your working life.
