Derek Watson spent the majority of his 25 year Royal Air Force career as a Tornado GR1 and GR4 pilot, leaving at the end of 2006 as a Wing Commander. Derek made good use of the services available to him during his resettlement by attending a 3 day Career Transition Workshop (CTW) and a number of Follow on Workshops including Business Start up, Management Consultancy and a Finance Briefing. He now works as Executive Director, Senior Operations Manager, in Asset Management with Goldman Sachs in the city of London. Koral Anderson is Managing Director, Asset Management at Goldman Sachs and Derek’s direct line manager. She speak of the strong managerial skills Service leavers like Derek bring to the organisation.
